Survey, engineering, permits, supply, install, COC and commissioning — one team, nationwide. Here's what it costs, how long it takes, and what the paperwork looks like.
Get a free site survey →Site survey & specification. We measure sightlines, ambient light, mounting surface, power and network, then specify pixel pitch, brightness (nits) and IP rating for your environment — indoor retail, mall, façade, billboard, stadium or events.
Engineering & permits. Wind-load and weight calculations to SANS 10160, structural drawings, and the full municipal signage application pack lodged on your behalf.
Installation & electrical. Registered electrical contractors, work to SANS 10142-1, Certificate of Compliance issued on every project. Mounted, calibrated, networked, spares handed over, operator trained.
Service. Optional national plan: 24/7 monitoring, 4-hour SLA, pixel and module replacement. See our network architecture and environment specs.
It depends on size, pixel pitch, indoor vs outdoor rating and the mounting structure. Small indoor retail screens start in the tens of thousands of rand installed; large outdoor billboards and stadium screens run into the millions. We quote from a free site survey so the number covers everything — hardware, structure, electrical with COC, permits and commissioning. No hidden extras.
Indoor retail or mall screens: 1–3 days on site. Outdoor billboards and façades: 1–3 weeks including structural work. Where municipal signage permits are required, allow 4–12 weeks of lead time — we prepare and lodge the application pack for you.
Yes. Outdoor advertising screens need municipal signage approval under local advertising bylaws and structural sign-off under SANS 10400; heritage areas need additional approval. We handle the drawings and the lodging.
Rule of thumb: minimum viewing distance in metres ≈ pixel pitch in millimetres. Close-range indoor retail P1.5–P2.5 · mall and foyer P2.5–P4 · outdoor billboards from 20 m+ P6–P10 · stadium perimeter P8–P10. Full details on the environment specs page.
